Steve Stollman

owned and operated a shop at 49 East Houston Street for 35 years, which became a focus of bicycle and environmental activism. Stollman bought, sold, and restored antique commercial wood bar fixtures, which led to the preservation of original Automat equipment, with exhibitions at the NY Public Library and Museum of the City of New York. Steve currently lives upstate with his lifelong companion Melissa and designs and builds prototypes of enclosed, human/solar/electric pedicabs.
